

Originally from Kapuskasing, Ontario, Reney Ray is a Franco-Canadian singer-songwriter and producer who stands out in both French and English. After releasing her debut English-language album in 2014, she achieved significant success with her self-titled French album in 2018, driven by the song "Le monde est con," which topped several radio charts in Canada. Her second album, *À l'Ouest du réel* (2021), cemented her place in the music scene. Named Francophone Artist of the Year at the CMAO awards in 2022, 2023, and 2024, she also won Francophone Songwriter of the Year at the Canadian Folk Music Awards in 2022, as well as the Public Choice Award at the Gala Trille Or in 2023 and 2025. Reney Ray has performed on numerous stages across Quebec, Ontario, and New Brunswick, notably as an opening act for 2Frères, Roch Voisine, and Alexandre Poulin. In addition to her solo career, she writes songs for various artists, including 2Frères and Martin Deschamps. In 2024, she released her third French album, *L'Album Temporaire*, while simultaneously developing a new English-language project.
